Clark Freeport as Mega-Logistic Hub

CILA has been working closely with SCADC, UP, CIAC, and other advocates for logistics development to put Clark on the World Logistics Map. It also helps in the promotion of Subic-Clark Corridor as Mega- Logistic Hub through its coordination with Subic-Clark Alliance for Development Council (SCADC) chaired by Sec. Edgardo Pamintuan. CILA has strengthened the business partnerships between the two corridors as it renews its Joint Memorandum of Agreement with Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce (SBFCC).

 
 
 

Certificate Courses

CILA, in coordination with recognized institutes from the academe and industry, has been developing courses custom-made for the Freeport and will be offering the same at subsidized rates. In partnership with the Taft Consulting Groups, one of of the known consultancy firm in the country. With top-caliber facilitators from De La Salle University and Asian Institute of Management. It offered Basic Management Program to the representatives from Cyber City Teleservices, Harris Stratex, O& G Manufacturing, Rolls-Royce, Smart Shirts Inc. Ltd., Metro Clark Network and SAT-A.

Scheduled Consultative Meeting with Clark Development Corporation

CILA, as a venue for raising matters and issues of our locators and served as an interactive setting with the top management of CDC. CILA and CDC planned to have the meeting on a monthly basis.

 
 
 

Metro Clark Advisory Council (MCAC)

It is a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) of the Metro Clark Advisory Council (MCAC) in the formulation of policies that greatly affects the different localities in Pampanga.

Association of Business Chambers – Central Luzon – (ABC CL)

To enhance CILA’s bargaining power and integrate it with the business community in the Metro-Clark area, CILA spearheaded an initiative to form a coalition among all business chambers in Pampanga, initially, and the rest of Central Luzon. It attended the regular meetings of the Association, the most recent was held in Shanghai Restaurant and the topic : Security Issues and Concerns of businesses in the area. The guest speaker was Mr. Ace Esmeralda

Job Fair

CILA in cooperation with other parties, have been hosting well-attended Job Fairs for locators for the past few years. It conducted a well-promoted Job Fairs for the year and the most recent was co-presented by CDC and CCTL held last November 2008 at the Children’s Playground in Bayanihan Park. At least 600 applicants were able to pooled.
